About Janet

Janet McKenney is a Massachusetts Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in private practice.

She received her Masters in Counseling from Lesley University in 2016. She also holds an MBA which informs her practice management. Janet provides individual counseling to adults through on-line visits on Tuesdays and in-person visits on Wednesdays in the Beverly office.

She uses a variety of clinical approaches in therapy. Areas of personal interest and extensive training include Internal Family Systems (IFS), existential-psychoanalytic therapy, and mindfulness and compassion practices. Janet strives to offer an empathetic, non-judgmental, and collaborative relationship to support your personal journey of inner exploration and growth.
